About Us

about us.

Firbeck Village Hall is a well-used Village Hall which was modernised in 2010 thanks to grants from the Big Lottery Fund and WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Ltd).

It is located at the heart of the village of Firbeck, which is situated on the South Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire border.

The Hall is a self-funded registered Charity (no. 523603) administered by Trustees and managed by Firbeck Village Hall Management Committee. Revenue to cover operational costs and improvements is raised from hosting fundraising events, hiring out the hall and occasional ad hoc grants and donations.

We welcome bookings from both individuals and organisations. Our excellent facilities make the Hall suitable for a wide range of events. Private parties, public meetings, fundraisers, lectures, weddings, christenings, theatre and music events have all been successfully held in the hall. In addition, the Hall is used to deliver many weekly or monthly activity groups covering a variety of pursuits including Table Tennis, Yoga, Art Society and Indoor bowling.

During the year the Management Committee host a number of fundraising events including monthly cinema nights, games and social evenings, a Christmas Fair, an annual BBQ and bi-annual Scarecrow event.

These events are open to all. Please come and join us, you will be made very welcome.
